Create an inviting bedroom space within the studio to capture two new colour ranges of bedding to the Cotton Collective.
Create images that capture the texture, colour and detail of two new colours in the Cotton Collective bedding range. This photo shoot needed to sit comfortably alongside existing images that were captured in a real bedroom and so integral that this shoot mimicked that of a real home too.
These photos would be used on the website and in marketing and needed to provide a mixture of landscape and portrait photos that showed an overall feel to the bedding but also captured some of that soft luxury up close.
This studio photo shoot required transforming the space into a bedroom. We used a fake bed and additional furniture to make the space feel homely, inviting and real!
Props were fairly neutral in tone, complementing the colour of the bedding but occasional pops of complementary colour were used, such as co-ordination cushion covers. We made the beds more inviting by adding blankets, trays of tea and a copy of a good magazine that would tempt you to stay in bed that little bit longer.
Using a combination of wider shots, close ups and birds-eye view shots, we could capture how the bedding looks from different angles and in different lights.
A collection of product photos that make you want to jump into bed! These two new bedding colours have now got a series of images that show the colour and texture in a real home, which helps any customers imagine the bedding in their own bedroom.
Using low natural light really helped enhance every soft crease in the duvet and it’s just the perfect touch to the photography of such a tactile product.
