To capture an assortment of images that clearly show the contents of The Menopause Dietitian giftbox but also lifestyle images that show the calm, mindful moments that can be created using the contents.
The images would be used on Etsy, The Menopause Dietitian website and Instagram, so needed to be suitable as a product listing and for social media use.
Although the brand is centred around nutrition, this giftbox is a combination of goodies that are designed to cultivate a healthier, happier relationship with food and body. This means it’s not all about food alone and therefore we discussed excluding any food as props.
Laura provided a list of the products included in the box along with information on why those items are part of this package. Having that info meant we could capture each product in such a way as to reflect the reasoning behind Laura’s choice to include it. For example, the quiet time teabag made up into a cuppa to accompany the the moment of reflective journaling and learning.
The studio was converted into a tranquil, calm home environment in order to capture the imagery. The backgrounds are simple and neutral yet feel aspirational.
We also created a more festive home environment, with the warm glow of lights on a Christmas tree, for Laura to use to market the box in her second wave at Christmas.
Laura was provided with a gallery of 50 images, all showcasing this box designed to gift yourself or a loved one a pause to nourish.
The photo shoot contained predominantly portrait orientation images but also a handy landscape image that could be used on The Menopause Dietitian website or a cover photo on Etsy.
The inclusion of some festive images meant Laura had a bank of images that would see her through her initial launch but also be able to push new content come the second wave around Christmas time.
