Imagery that reflects the purpose of the essential oils – think calm, minimal, relaxed and pure.
To capture lifestyle imagery for use throughout the YNYS Aroma website, on the YNYS Aroma social media accounts and on printed marketing, such as compliment cards.
The majority of the imagery would be a lifestyle scene with just a few images where the hero is close up and filling the shot (aka great for main product shots).
The lifestyle setting should complement the blend of essential oils featured, such as the scent inhale, to be shown in an environment that is fresh, clean, bright, and invigorating.Â
Following Louise’s specific list of shots, we created several different setups to reflect the scents featured. A lot of these setups pushed the minimalist side of things, including minimal colours – sticking with whites, woods and greens from foliage.
Hands were used in some shots to show products such as the balm being used, diffusers being filled up and candles being lit. This helped give scale and actin to the shots.
For part of the shoot, the studio was made subtly festive, with a green Christmas tree and warm fairy lights to create an inviting, cosy home space without being garish or tacky.
Louise was presented with a gallery of over 30 images that she could use across the YNYS brand, from product listings to website banners and printed marketing to social media.
The shoot provided images that could be used for Christmas marketing but also a huge number of images that were seasonally timeless and so could be used throughout the year.
Overall, the gallery gives a feeling of natural, calm and tranquility – ideal for this beautiful brand.
