Photos that show Uberstar’s barware and giftware in a lifestyle setting – think cocktail kits being made, travel bottles being used in a picnic scene and ice cube trays being filled.
To capture images of Uberstar’s products that could be used in print catalogues, on posters and POS for their wholesale customers. These images should work well for product listings.
The images should show the products in a lifestyle scene, for example in a kitchen, living room or bar area. Some shots should show hands using said products, to help give it scale and sell the lifestyle!
The styling is to be kept contemporary and fairly neutral in colour, allowing the colours of the products to stand out. The neutral styling of this shoot will help give the shoot overall consistency even though the products are varied.
We worked our way through Ryan’s product list that included a few helpful notes about how many photos he’d like for each product but otherwise left us to have creative freedom.
The starting point was to create some aesthetically beautiful ice cubes using the Uberstar trays and moulds which needed to be done the day before we planned to shoot. We also needed to source bottles of wine, fizz and beers that could feature in the photos without being heavily and noticeably branded.
In the studio, we kept the scenes bright, light and white with a little texture from wood surfaces and green foliage.
We needed some shots to show a picnic scene so we prepared an area outside the studio that we could use – and waited until it stopped raining!
Ryan was presented with a gallery of over 100 product photos that could be used for the Uberstar brand in various ways.
The images are bright, fresh and contemporary. The majority of these images can be used throughout the year but the picnic style shots showcasing the travel bottles are a great asset for pushing during the warmer months.
Overall, the shoot shows barware and drinkware in an appealing way and hopefully makes people want to gift a bit of Uberstar to their friends or themselves.
